Director/Business Development: Healthcare Practice
The Business Development Director will lead our growing healthcare practice, leveraging their significant healthcare understanding, with specificity around current healthcare challenges at the strategic and operational level. This role will report into our COO, working with the executive team to develop and execute a highly targeted business development strategy, as well as advance industry thought leadership and innovation. You will be responsible for establishing new clients, as well as maintaining and enhancing existing client/industry relationships. You will also provide executive oversight to ensure success with our clients. This position will be considered a remote role, with a target geography base of Nashville, TN, Atlanta, GA, or Cincinnati, OH, and will require 50% travel. We are looking for someone who is passionate about Healthcare, helping clients succeed, and providing positive client outcomes.
 
Specific Responsibilities & Qualifications…
  • Develop a winning sales strategy for new business growth within our Healthcare practice.
  • Drive the business development/sales cycle, effectively selling MSLLC’s solution set within the Healthcare space to new accounts, as well as expand existing accounts.
  • Develop and build CXO level relationships.
  • Must have experience in leading, developing and managing proposals (full life-cycle), as well as developing SOW’s.
  • Must have direct experience prospecting, pipeline development/management, as well as experience managing a pursuit through the entire sales cycle.
  • Must have extensive Healthcare industry experience, including competitive landscape understanding, with wide-ranging network connections.
  • Strong communicator, active listener, that has a strong degree of self-awareness with the ability to develop relationships and collaborate, working with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to articulate insights, as well as map and frame business solutions that are outcome based.
  • Servant leader mindset.
  • Bachelor’s Degree required.
  • Must have 10+ years working in a consulting environment, with significant understanding of how to navigate within a solution sales environment, working with executive and delivery organizations.
  • Must have 5+ years of direct experience successfully meeting revenue goals/financial performance goals.
Preferred
  • Relevant Project Management experience and/or understanding.
  • Advanced degree in business or healthcare.
