Role Snapshot…
The primary role of the Business Analyst is to work collaboratively with the IT Manager, clients and project teams for the coordination and completion of projects.  The main tasks will include performing detailed requirements analysis, documenting processes, and performing some user acceptance testing.

Responsibilities & Competencies…
  • Conduct qualitative and quantitative evaluations.  Business Analyst will support the management of healthcare data and data structure as well as structuring data to fulfill program requirements like reporting.
  • Participate in creating data visualizations and dashboards.   Support the IT Manager by working collaboratively in the development, configuration and delivery of reporting solutions which may include tools such as Tableau or other reporting tools.
  • Assist in cloud-based data management & reporting.  Work with the IT Manager by working collaboratively in the development, configuration and delivery of cloud base solutions which may include solutions such as implementing Azure or Amazon Web Services.
  • Responsible for implementing conformance to HIPPA and other common healthcare data requirements from CMS.
  • Develop project templates, checklists, and guidance documents. 
  • Support the development of project plans, manages projects, and maintains project documentation.
  • Prioritize initiatives based on business needs and requirements.
  • Serve as a liaison between stakeholders and users.
  • Lead ongoing reviews of business processes and develop optimization strategies.
  • Evaluate business processes, anticipate requirements, uncover areas for improvement, and develop and implement solutions.
  • Perform requirements analysis and user acceptance testing.
  • Gather critical information from meetings with various stakeholders and produce useful reports.
  • Document and communicate results of the team’s efforts.
  • Work closely with clients, project managers, and managerial staff.
  • Ensure solutions meet business needs and requirements.
  • Manage competing resources and priorities.
  • Monitors deliverables and ensures timely completion of projects.

  • Perform other duties as required.
  • 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst working on Health Information Technology Solutions Support and Electronic Health Information Management.
  • BA or BS degree required.
  • Must work towards obtaining Agile, LEAN/Six Sigma, CAPM, or PMP certifications.
  • Experience with information technology for primary care practices and certified EHR systems preferred.
  • Experience working on remote configurations preferred.
  • Beginner to intermediate level understanding of Project Management principles.
  • Beginner to intermediate level competency using Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project.
  • Contribute to high-quality deliverables and/or tasks under supervision.
  • Have a high emotional intelligence, exceptional communication, teamwork and influencing skills that foster a collaborative and continuous improvement environment.
